About RoSPA

A message from RoSPA's patron, Her Majesty the Queen. More...

RoSPA's mission is to save lives and reduce injuries.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is a registered charity established over 90 years ago and aims to campaign for change, influence opinion, contribute to debate, educate and inform - for the good of all.

By providing information, advice, resources and training, RoSPA is actively involved in the promotion of safety and the prevention of accidents in all areas of life - at work, in the home, and on the roads, in schools, at leisure and on (or near) water.

In order to give a clearer picture of some of the key understandings which inform our approach to safety, RoSPA has developed 'Safety: a short RoSPA guide to core concepts '. This is intended as an aide memoire for our own trustees and staff and for opinion formers, educators and political representatives.

RoSPA Membership
The Society works towards its aims with central and local government, the caring services, the police and with public and private sector organisations large and small. Some of its work is funded by grant and sponsorship but mostly relies on the support of its growing Membership. As well as contributing to RoSPA’s valuable work, Members enjoy a range of benefits from journal subscription to course discounts. Click here for more information on RoSPA Membership

Support RoSPA’s work
You can support RoSPA’s work in many ways. Why not make a donation, you can become a RoSPA sponsor, or you could even arrange some fundraising activities at your local school or youth group.

Leaving a legacy or making a donation to RoSPA
If you have ever been the victim of an accident or experienced the impact of an accident on individuals and families, you will appreciate the importance of safety. You will want to help us in our work to prevent accidents and the anguish and waste which they cause. Find out how you can help...
