Excessive noise at work is a significant yet preventable problem affecting thousands of UK workplaces. Now is an excellent time to start addressing noise in your
workplace, as the new Control of Noise at Work Regulations reduce legally acceptable noise levels.
With RoSPA’s new consultancy service a fully competent noise assessor (recognised by the Institute of Acoustics), will visit your premises to determine noise exposures using appropriate instrumentation, calibration, measurement and analysis techniques. Results are analysed and presented to incorporate immediate and future actions. The RoSPA consultant will also make recommendations on the selection of appropriate engineering controls, hearing protection programmes, health surveillance and PPE. |
 A RoSPA consultant will visit your
premises in order to act as the
‘competent person’ required under
CoSHH Regulations to assess workplace
dust exposure levels. The consultant will
use Casella CEL equipment to assess
exposure levels for individuals and to
carry out background monitoring.
Following analysis they will report on
exposure levels, legal compliance and
suggested control measures. |
