RoSPA can accredit your organisation’s training courses, be they:
- Offered on the open market to paying delegates, or
- Delivered only to your own employees
Once accredited, courses can then be advertised and delivered under the prestigious ‘Accredited by RoSPA’ banner. There is even a unique version of the instantly recognisable RoSPA red square logo that you can use to promote the relevant courses on your website/Intranet and in your catalogues, sales brochures and attendance certificates.
The accreditation process consists of a thorough review of the course content and all related material, including trainers’ notes, delegate packs etc. Following the review all recommended improvements/ corrections must be acted upon before RoSPA Accreditation will be granted. Accreditation runs annually and RoSPA reserve the right to audit training delivery and materials to ensure that standards are maintained.
This thorough review process therefore gives you peace of mind that your courses have been independently a
ssessed and deemed to embody best practice. Moreover, it is also a powerful symbol of quality to favourably influence training course buying decisions.
As an alternative, organisations may be interested in RoSPA’s Occupational Safety and Health Course Development service whereby we design a course syllabus and craft the course materials to meet a particular training requirement within your organisation. Select members of your organisation (RoSPA will highlight requirements) can then carry out the training course in order to train other employees.
RoSPA will deliver the initial course to the internal trainers, and will then accredit on an ongoing annual basis.
This is an extremely cost-effective training solution, which means that you do not have to compromise on the quality of your internal courses even given limited budgets, awkward shift patterns and multi- locations.

Course Accreditation is awarded purely at RoSPA's discretion - some proposals for course accreditation, particularly those from competitive training organisations, may not be considered.
