Road Accident Investigation - Introduction Course
| This one-day introduction course is to enable managers, insurers and solicitors to understand new legal guidelines and how to practically interpret different types of evidence. Who should attend? Individuals responsible for vehicles and drivers, or those with a health and safety duty of care. What will they learn? How the new legal guidelines affect fleet operators and how to ensure that they are met. Delegates should also be able to identify practical solutions to assess the risk of litigation and, where possible conduct basic road accident investigations. |
Course content includes: ● Understanding the economic, legal and corporate needs for investigating road accidents ● Reducing the costs of accidents through implementing the correct procedures  ● Interpretation of different types of evidence, including police reports● Implementing clear procedures for accident investigation within the fleet ● Briefing drivers in their legal requirements following accidents.
