This course aims to introduce and familiarise delegates to a new vehicle and driving it on British roads so that they can navigate themselves safely and with confidence.
Who should attend?
All work related drivers who need to become familiar with a new vehicle.
What will they learn?
Familiarity with their new vehicle by having the opportunity to drive on a public road whilst supervised by an expert.

Course content includes:
● A working knowledge of the new vehicle and it’s features ● An understanding of the vehicles characteristics and limitations ● Awareness of additional features, such as ABS and traction control ● Knowledge of the fuel type and requirements ● Appreciation of auxiliary equipment, such as Satellite Navigation ● The location and provision of emergency equipment, including spare wheel, jack and wheel brace.

Preparatory Work:
It is advised that the delegate obtains an up-to-date copy of the Vehicles Handbook & Company Driver Handbook and at least looks at it prior to attending this course. It would be beneficial for the delegate to bring their copy with them on the day.
