New Action on Injuries Website Launched
www.actiononinjuries.org
Launched by the Secretariat of the Working Party on Accidents and Injuries, the aim of this website is to support public health activities that seek to reduce all accidents and injuries in the European Union. It is targeted at a broad group of interested parties from injury prevention experts to stakeholders, from politicians to European citizens and is supported by DG Health and Consumer Protection of the European Commission.
The website contains information on the vision and strategy of the Working Party on Accidents and Injuries, on current and finalised injury prevention projects supported by the European Commission and lists contact details of Working Party members, National Data Administrators and field-related institutes. In addition, a comprehensive injury prevention reference library brings you up to date with published articles and papers in the field. An International Events section provides an overview of forthcoming injury prevention related events and the 'Action on Accidents and Injuries' Newsletter is also available on-line.
