Safety Awareness Exchange : Testimonials

Safety Awareness Exchange : Testimonials‘I was very impressed with the context and choice of topics and certainly got more out of the day than I had anticipated. I found that sitting around the tables with a handful of delegates at any one time was both extremely useful and enjoyable. The information provided was first class – the best I have been to so far’.
Gordon Pake, Carlisle Housing Association

‘The unique event format was refreshing and welcoming. The parallel sessions of workshops and discussion tables were excellent for dipping in and out of issues, which interested me most. I was able to get latest information from national level experts in addition to gaining confirmation of some of our current methods’.
Mr Kim Lawley, HSE Manager, First Group Plc

‘An excellent day that was well managed to ensure easy access to presentations and discussion tables – a great day’.
Linda Reilly, West Lothian College

‘For the busy health and safety professional, the format of RoSPA's Safety Awareness Exchange was just right. By carefully choosing sessions and only discussing key topics for my business I gained a lot of really useful advice and information from both the experts and other delegates. The networking at coffee breaks and lunch were invaluable. The 'early bird' sessions were really good. Short sharp resumes of key points on current issues!'
Mr Alan Harwood, HSE Advisor, FMC Technologies Ltd

'This RoSPA Safety Awareness Exchange was brilliant. It was probably the best event I’ve been to - ever. I had to restrict the amount of information I took in before my brain exploded. This was the first such event RoSPA has held - if they do more, give it a go. There were very few delegates from education there but Marilyn MacFarlane and Jill Joyce, from the LSC, were there pushing the Safe Learner message. I also went to the presentation on Corporate Performance Reporting. Are there any colleges that report their health and safety performance on their websites? If not, why not?'
Phillipa Nobbs, Health and Safety Officer, Isle College
