RoSPA Wales : Home Safety

The WHSC has a mobile puppet theatre used to teach children the need for home safety.The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ office in Wales is located in Llanishen, Cardiff, and the team presently consists of a Community Safety Manager (Steve Baker), a Project Officer (Michelle Harrington) and a Road Safety Assistant (Jan Bibby). RoSPA Wales is committed to working closely with the Welsh Assembly Government, Local Authorities, the Emergency Services, the media, voluntary groups and other interested parties within Wales, to address the road and home safety problems within the country.

How Safe is Your Home? A fun way to make people think about how safe their home is. Aimed at older people and covering such things as smoke alarms and slips trips and falls. A free download available in PDF format in Welsh and English.
Home and Garden Checklist
A handy common sense guide to home safety in the form of a "Home and Garden Safety Checklist" of the hazards to be found in the home and garden. A free download available in PDF format in Welsh and English.
