Health Hazards and Control (Physical and Psychological)
 This new course looks at key causes of ill health in the workplace including workstation design, workplace environment, noise, heat, stress and violence. |
What will the delegate bring back to the workplace? ● An understanding of the impact of task and workstation design, including the principles of ergonomics, musculoskeletal problems and key elements of a DSE assessment ● Knowledge of common welfare and work environment requirements ● An understanding of noise considerations, including measurement techniques, control techniques and personal hearing protection ● Knowledge of preventative measures and protection strategies for heat and radiation ● The ability to identify key causes, effects and prevention strategies for stress ● The ability to identify risk factors and prevention strategies for violence |
