Health and safety professionals seeking full IOSH membership
(CMIOSH). Delegates will preferably hold a NEBOSH National
General Certificate, or Level 3 equivalent, achieved within the
last three years. Exceptions will be decided on a case by case
basis, subject to experience, submission of a CV and an
employers’ testimonial.
What will they learn?
To identify and assess risk factors, to introduce and manage necessary control measures and to operate in line with current legislation and HSE guidance, which is proactive and goal-setting, rather than rule following. How will they be assessed?
Via one three-hour examination for units A, B and C (three in total) and one assignment (Unit D). Optional revision courses are available, and further private study will also be required. Delegates need to register separately to sit the NEBOSH examinations, which are included in the course fees.

Unit D - Mandatory Assignment
Unit D is incorporated into the core units of the Diploma.
The Mentoring Package gives the student access to a tutor
with experiences of NEBOSH assignment criteria. One to one
sessions are available with the tutor throughout the
registration period.
