Notes
1. Standard assessment is made where such tests may be performed on site without dismantling or destruction.
2. Assessment is made to EN 1176. Where equipment fails EN 1176, but meets BS 5696 or DIN 7926 and risk assessment is provided
3. Any guidance notes issued as part of the standard will be viewed as part of EN 1176 even though they do not form part of the formal requirements, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Where assessment is carried out at inspections subsequent to the annual inspection, only published changes, amendments or interpretations of the Standard will be notified.
5. Inspections are undertaken on the basis of being non-dismantling inspections. Where such work is felt to be necessary a recommendation will be made in the report.
