RoSPA staff are members of a number of committees working towards new standards or legislation. However, RoSPA also responds to many consultation documents or to drafts of proposed legislation through its National Committees and to Parliamentary Select Committee Enquiries.

NAPIT Consultation
Application to set up Registration Scheme under GSIUR Regulation 3(3) of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 (GSIUR) requires employers of people doing work on a gas fitting or service pipework, and self-employed people doing such work, to be members of a ‘class of persons’ approved by the HSE (with very limited exceptions). For a decade and a half the registration scheme run by CORGI has been the sole option for the GB domestic gas industry.
