Objectives & Activities
After much consultation, RoSPA’s Mission and Vision were reviewed and changed during the 2006/7 financial year. As a result, RoSPA’s focus has moved from one of influencing others to one of making a practical difference to people’s lives.
RoSPA’s Mission:
To save lives and reduce injuries |
RoSPA’s Vision:
To lead the way in accident prevention |
How RoSPA delivers its new Mission and Vision remains largely unchanged, although there is a greater emphasis on demonstrating the effectiveness of the work that RoSPA does. RoSPA seeks to effect change through its work as a promoter of key issues and as a provider of relevant services. The Society collects data, carries out research, develops policies, informs, educates, audits and provides expert consultancy in each of the following areas:
- At work
- At leisure
- On the road
- In the home
- By influencing and informing
- By developing risk education
