The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards programme has evolved over more than 50 years to become the leading scheme of its kind. In 2008, over 1500 awards were made, including 20 industry sector winners. The top performers in the RoSPA Awards form a valuable body of expertise from which other organisations can be encouraged to learn.
This Networking Event will help organisations to benchmark their performance with other award winners and also to prepare an entry for the 2009 Awards round.
Participants will be able to:
- Hear case study presentations
- Visit a range of 'topic tables' ran by leading specialists, offering advice and signposting
- Share and compare information with fellow professionals
- Gain valuable insights into the higher Industry Sector and Specialist Awards.
The event includes lunch for all participants and will take place from 10.00am-1.00pm prior to the prestigious RoSPA Scotland awards presentations in the afternoon and the evening gala dinner.
Share and compare!
Enabling organisations to learn effectively from one another will be a central focus at this unique event. Participants will be encouraged to share and compare data and experiences around issues such as:
- Board level structures and reporting
- Setting corporate priorities and targets
- Workforce involvement
- Selecting and managing contractors
